Bonnie Jean Morgan, age 52, of Ditto Circle, Lacey's Spring, (Morgan City Community) died Sunday, June 20, 2010 at her residence.

Mrs. Morgan was born in Madison County, Alabama, May 31, 1958, the Daughter of Kenneth Barnett and Melba Eubanks Barnett. She was married for 28 years to Daniel Wayne "Danny" Morgan. She had lived in the Morgan City Community for most of her lifetime and was a member of Little Gethsemane House of Prayer in Lacey's Spring. She was a Homemaker and also worked for Palco Telecommunication.

Bonnie Jean is survived by her Husband: "Danny" Morgan of Lacey's Spring; her Father: Kenneth Barnett of Fayetteville, Tennessee; two Brothers and Sister-In-Law: James and Teresa Barnett of Huntsville and Benny Barnett also of Huntsville; two Sisters and Brothers-In-Law: Patricia and Billy Myers of Huntsville and Melissa and Sam Smiley of Fayetteville, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her Mother: Melba Barnett and a Sister: Glenda Dyan Youngblood.

Funeral service was 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Brindlee Mountain Chapel, Morgan City, with Leon Holt, officiating. Burial was in Bush Cemetery, New Hope, Alabama, Madison County, Brindlee Mountain Chapel, directing.

Pallbearers were Benny Barnett, Thad Barnett, Kenneth Bing, Mike Dalton, John Gore, Andrew Hill, Larry West and Rodney West.

Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2010 at Brindlee Mountain Chapel, Morgan City Community.
